The 5th Raider Reunion was held on July 13-15, 1990 in Carrollton, KY. Seventy Raiders, their families and several Raider KIA family members attended. This reunion marked the 20th anniversary for those who fought on Hill 805, and was the first reunion for the newly located "Original Raiders" from the 1967/68 time period when the company deployed to Vietnam. Mr. John Palm was awarded the first Hooper/Sims Award for his early locating efforts. |
